Mini O's 2011

The week of Thanksgiving is very special for many amateur motocross riders because every year for one week Gatorback Cycle Park hosts Thor's Winter Olympics aka Mini O's. So during a time where people share what they're most thankful for these guys and girls spend time with what they're most thankful for family, friends, and dirtbikes in Florida with some of the top amateur riders in the world with a chance to compete for some national titles and big recognition in the industry.

We took a trip down to Florida for the 40th annual Mini O's presented by Pro Circuit to see some of the TeamFUA guys shred it up. Having never been to a big national like this we were immediately hooked and have already decided this is where we'll be this time next year. This year we stayed for just 3 days so we could make it back to NC to spend Thanksgiving with our families but there was a steady pace of great racing the entire time. The first 3 days focused on Supercross and we got to see Cooper Webb dominate on his new Star Racing ride, though team guys Anthony Laird and Mike Barnum couldn't quite get it going after being taken out each moto it was still sick seeing them rip the SX track up which features big rhythm sections and some gnarly whoops. Also out was some of the other top amateurs in the sport as Jessy Nelson, Dakota Alix, Jeremy Martin, Adam Ciancirulo, and Zach Bell also had some great races and really showed why they are considered the stars of the future.

Brittany Rice Photography hooked us up with this great gallery of pics from Gatorback of us out repping Forever United as well as some race action. Enjoy!
